I absolutely loved the decoration of the cottage. The floral wallpaper and cozy furnishings made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained, and the garden was a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The pathways were well-lit and there were handrails in the bathrooms, making it easier for me to navigate and feel safe.
I would have asked for a better vacation if there were more activities specifically catered towards senior people. It would have been nice to have some organized outings or workshops to meet other seniors and engage in enjoyable activities.

The decoration at Lily Cottage was absolutely charming, with beautiful furnishings and a cozy atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated the attention to detail in making the property accessible for older guests. The general areas were well-maintained and provided a comfortable space to relax and enjoy the surroundings. It was a delight to spend time in such a thoughtfully decorated environment.
If I had to ask for a better vacation for senior people, it would be to have more assistance available from the staff. While the children working there were friendly and helpful, it would have been nice to have more support and guidance specifically tailored to the needs of older guests.

The hotel was fine, with beautiful grounds and a high standard of cleanliness. We stayed for 7 nights and even cooked a lovely Christmas dinner there. The hosts, a husband and wife, were genuine and always happy to help. They even greeted us with a bottle of wine, biscuits, and Christmas treats. Every cooking item we needed was available. There were minor issues , but they were quickly resolved.
We read some negative feedback before staying, but honestly, we found it to be perfect. The hosts made us feel at home and always were really good too assist us.

Wow, the bathroom in Lily Cottage was a dream come true! The one with a bath or shower made me feel like I was lounging in a luxurious spa. As a busy business traveler, this was the perfect place to unwind after a long day.
Personally, I preferred the bathroom with just a shower. But hey, that's just my preference!

What a perfect little cottage for our city break! The place was cozy and comfortable, with a welcome package of nibbles that was a lovely touch. The bed was super comfy, and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. The location was great, just a short walk into town or a quick taxi ride if you prefer.
